Founded in 2006, Orchestra Miami is Miami’s only fully professional orchestra. In its brief history, it has already begun to fulfill its mission of bringing affordable, quality classical symphonic concerts to Miami Dade County. We seek to make concert going convenient and affordable, and to provide our audience with performances that contain innovative programming, educational excellence and have a clear focus on celebrating Miami’s diverse cultural heritage.

Past performances include providing a world-class orchestra for top-selling Classical Artist Andrea Bocelli and international superstar tenor, Juan Diego Florez, as well as providing our own quality programming. In our inaugural season, we presented the incomparable Eglise Gutierrez, soprano, in an homage to Mozart; in our smash 2008 season, our diverse programming ranged from a star-studded opera gala celebrating the bicentennial of Casa Ricordi, to the best in Latin jazz with Nestor Torres, to a North American premiere of David Chesky’s Concerto for Guitar with none other than the incomparable Angel Romero.
