Mad For Mariachi

Orchestra Miami presents “Mad for Mariachi”, the second concert in our Family Fun series at Pinecrest Gardens.

 

Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of mariachi music with the Homestead-Miami Mariachi Conservatory and Mariachi Los Mora-Arriaga. Attendees will have the chance to delve into the rich history and global influence of mariachi culture. Supported by members of Orchestra Miami, the 65 students of the Homestead-Miami Mariachi Conservatory takes center stage, showcasing the incredible talents of its youth. Through interactive sessions driven by student engagement, discussions, and insightful presentations, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the cultural significance and artistic brilliance of mariachi. The event promises special numbers that add a touch of magic to the overall experience. It serves as a celebration of mariachi traditions, fostering an environment where music enthusiasts and curious minds alike can appreciate and connect with this vibrant and dynamic musical heritage.
