On New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2026), Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration- an unforgettable, free, family-friendly, beachfront concert performed by Miami’s premiere professional orchestra, Orchestra Miami, led by Miami native and Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi. Ring in the New Year with Maestro Rinaldi, the 47-piece symphony orchestra, and our special guests, Miami based, electronic music duo AfroBeta!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve like never before with Orchestra Miami and special guests AfroBeta at Orchestra Miami’s FREE New Year’s Eve Celebration!

Get ready for an electrifying night where the power of a 47-piece orchestra meets the unstoppable energy of AfroBeta, Miami’s dynamic electronic dance duo. Known for their bold blend of dance-pop, funk, and electronic beats, AfroBeta will join forces with Orchestra Miami to create a spectacular sound you have to experience live.

Imagine infectious dance beats, soaring orchestral sounds, and an entire crowd coming together to celebrate the arrival of a brand-new year. It’s a concert, a dance party, and a New Year’s Eve celebration all rolled into one!

The festivities start at 8 PM with a performance by the Orchestra Miami String Quartet performing festive music to get you in the mood. The full orchestra takes the stage at 10 PM and the performance concludes at midnight with a spectacular fireworks display, sponsored by the City of Miami Beach!

The concert takes place on 21st Street Beach

(East of Collins Avenue on the sand)

between 21st & 22nd Streets.

FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring?

Bring a beach chair or blanket, picnic, Skin So Soft for no-see-ums, comfortable shoes to walk in the sand, and bug spray. Seating is not provided except for VIP/Priority and handicap patrons.

Is this family friendly?

Yes, recommended for ages 8+. 

Health/Safety/COVID?

This is an outdoor event; please check the weather so you can be prepared. Come early to claim your space.

Timeline of Events

  • 8-9:20 PM: Pre-Show with the Orchestra Miami String Quartet

  • 9:30 PM: Sound Check

  • 10 PM- Orchestra Miami performs with AfroBeta

  • Midnight: Fireworks!

Where do I park?

1. Parking is available at the Collins Park Garage, located at 340 23 rd Street, or the G7 Garage in the 1755 Meridian Building or in the 17 th Street Garage.

 

Arrive early to allow time for parking, walking to the park & staking out your spot! The Collins Park Garage is our #1 recommended parking location for this event. 

Where are bathrooms?

Public restrooms available on the beach at the 21st Street entrance. Handicapped facilities located in the VIP area- ask attendant for assistance

Health/Safety/COVID?

This is an outdoor event; please check the weather so you can be prepared. Come early to claim your space.

Will there be food?

Concessions are available in the VIP section only. You are welcome (and encouraged) to bring a picnic! Please note, that alcohol is ONLY available for purchase and consumption in the VIP area. NO GLASS is allowed on the Beach!!

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed on the beach. Please keep in mind that there will be crowds, it will be noisy and the fireworks are directly behind the stage. We strongly recommend that you leave your four-legged friends at home! No pets will be allowed in the VIP area.

Are there chairs provided?

There will be limited seating provided for handicapped and elderly patrons. All other guests are advised to bring a blanket or a beach chair. VIP & Priority tickets come with a reserved seat (chair). Chairs are provided for Handicapped Patrons at no charge.
